Replace the Air Filter

Replace the Air Filter/Correct Filter Area Problem

Adequate filter surface area is important for proper air flow.  The more restrictive a filter, the greater filter surface area required in order to maintain proper air flow.  Undersized filter area in conjunction with an overly restrictive filter will significantly restrict air flow and adversely effect system performance.  Individually calculating static pressure losses for filters, supply, return, dirty coils, dirty fans, and other restrictions is time consuming and difficult.  Running a Total Performance Diagnostic cooling report will quickly estimate the effects of all air flow losses on system performance.
